If thats the case change to raptor petcock, they bolt right in and flow a little more fuel.
That's where it's at.
Even if that is not the problem, more than likely it WILL be a problem.

Have you checked the petcock? The z400s have a vacuum line on them so if you're running it on the "on" setting, and it's not getting fuel into the carb, my guess is it's that vacuum line. Try running it on primary and see how it works.

I guess good pull the whole way. My kixxer sees just about every kind of riding you throw at me.
Also, just put a black hood on her today...I'll get some pics up Saturday probly, it's late now and I got school and work tomorrow...

Blasterfan, eventually it will be wide. My z was a built trail machine and it was 50 inches wide. I had no problems fitting in between trees.
pual0101, do you think I oughta go with some kx450 hotcams or what?

Oh I know all about the intake haha that's why it's coming as soon as the pipe is. But the cams are also really detuned that's why people usually get kx450 cams but I'm probly going with aftermarket cams

Pipe, intake, cams, wheels/tires, then suspension probably. Money is tight right now (McDonald's salary doesn't pay much) and God knows the parents don't pay for sh!t so yeah it'll be a while lol

Nice pics....how are you liking the KFX so far? What have you done to it? Are you still regretting not holding out for an 09 Z?
It's treatin' me well. So far just pcIII, no lid. The 09 zs are sweet and I definitely want one but not over my kfx.
when i practice, i go easy for 3 laps, then give it for a half hour, then 2 cool down laps. im tired after that, but not dead
Yeah I'm gonna start racing again next year so I gotta get back into shape.
If you run 15 min practices at a time with just enough time for the bike to cool down a little in between you build up a little more stamina, eventually you get used to it if you ride enough. Your ride about 45 min of the hour if you do it right. Run, hydrate, run somemore, hydrate some more....

I really don't know anything about cameras. Mine is an older sony so it might be out of date.
Not to try to brag or anything but there really wasn't any competition out there other than the dirtbikes lol my friends all have 400s or 250s. And yes, it wears me out way too fast. After my first 2 WARM UP laps, I was dead. My lungs can't take much more lol

Oh I see I'll get some pics for ya but my pcIII is fully adjustable then has buttons on it that say low mid high so you can just push buttons and adjust fuel curve it's nice and yeah I saw the red and black it's sickkkk but I didn't know about the kick start thing.

Haven't had any problems with it so far, plus it runs like a raped ape so ya I like it lol.
Get your TPS resolved? Finally got mine fixed, starts better than ever now.
Nah, haven't messed with it. But I just found out it has a choke like 3 days ago haha

Just installed pcIII
Wow I put my pcIII on and took my airbox lid off and wow what an improvement. Can't wait to get my pipe and intake to see what I get...Anyone with a fuel injected bike or kfx450, a pcIII is a great mod.

It's pretty cool with the aluminum frame and fuel injection, but...It looks so stupid. Why does everyone keep changing the plastics? The new z400? Gay. Raptor 700? Gay. YFZ450? Gay. 400ex? Gay. How can't they realize when they have something good?

What cams did he have? Aftermarket or kx450? What kind of "custom intake" was on there? The kfx450 is a DOG with the stock intake, especially with the intake tube. I've beat 450s in quickness all stock but they will blow past me in fifth. The other day my friend on that z (slip on, alba intake) passed me up goin down the road so I went to pass him and he pinned it and I was topped out n couldn't catch up. These kawis are geared wayyyy low. Also, his pcIII may not have been adjusted right. Because a kfx450 with a pipe, pcIII, and a Fuel atv or FCI intake should rip right through you in every gear until fifth. No offense, not dogging your bike, but his bike especially should have blown you away with all his mods.

Yeah the nerfs are nice for what i paid. But i might just go all the way and either get pro armor fat pegs or get rath racing nerfs with monster pegs
Pro armor sucks. I got 2 buddies with pro armor nerfs on their z's and both of em hate them.
